How we review and rank coupons

The first verification

Before a code is published, an editor opens the merchant's site, adds a real product to the cart and pastes the code. If it applies a discount, it gets the verified badge. If not, it never goes live.

The ongoing re-check

We re-check active codes on a regular cycle. When a code stops working we move it to the expired section.

Ranking on store pages

Featured offers come first, then we sort by success rate (highest first) and recency. The "best coupon right now" is the active code with the highest success rate.

Success rate scoring

Success rate combines our test outcomes and anonymous shopper signals. A code with a 95% score is one we and our readers can both confirm is working.
